The coursework assignment will account for 100% of your overall mark for the module and each of the essays is equally weighted (50% each). As part of the coursework assignment you will be required to; reflect on the module content, show a critical engagement with relevant literature, and demonstrate an understanding of key concepts, theories, and approaches.

Lecture based guidance will be provided in the Week 11 ‘Semester Overview and Revision’ lecture (4pm – 6pm, Tuesday, 15th May). Additional guidance will be provided on request in and around lectures and seminars or via e-mail throughout the duration of the module. Guidance will not include reading and commenting on draft essays or essay plans.
The best way to prepare for the coursework assignment is to have attended each of the lectures, read the key readings that are identified for each session, to have identified and engaged with relevant additional sources, and to have kept concise notes throughout the module from which you can revise. The marking scheme will be based on the assumption that you have engaged with all aspects of the module. If you have been absent for a lecture, you will have been expected to have read the relevant lecture slides on LEARN and read identified readings for that session.
