TASK DESCRIPTION
Task – Written Report – 2000 Words

You must select one disease and provide a report which includes the following: Introduction (250 words)

• A definition of the disease
• Levels of the incidence that demonstrate the severity of the health issue (Both worldwide and UK statistics)

  Main Body (1500 words)

• Public health measures available
• The key determinants/risk factors of the chosen disease.
• Short-term public health consequences of the disease in a health or social care setting
• Long-term public health consequences of the disease in a health or social care setting

  Conclusion (250 words)

  Relevant published UK data and statistics must be included and referenced within the report. You can choose a health or social care setting of your choice.
