You will need to research, analyse, and present current thinking on sustainable people management practices relating to your topic. Your recommendations should link evidence to practice.

Video Requirement

Presentation length

  • Maximum time: 5 minutes
  • Maximum number of slides: 5 slides including title slide
  • Reference list is not included in page limit


  • Your video should be based on a PowerPoint presentation with voice-over.
  • Your PowerPoint must be in landscape format. You can insert images but do not use animations.

Your Title Slide should include:

  • Your topic
  • Your name
  • Your Student Number
  • Points made in your slides must include reference to author/s and year (just like intext references in an assignment)
  • Resources are provided below to guide you through how to create and submit your video.

  • You don’t need to have a reference list in the video presentation just in the attached Executive Summary. However, you do need to reference within your slides.

Slide Presentation Tips

  • Limit the amount of text on slides. The suggested amount of text per slide is no more than 5 -10 words per sentence and 4 – 5 lines per slide
  • Use symbols or images to provide visual clues for the audience
  • To ensure that slides are legible it is best to use nothing below 18pt font. 24pt font is recommended

Executive Summary Requirements


  • 2 + 1:  2 pages plus Reference List

Format and Structure

  • You must submit a 2-page Executive Summary outlining the content of the presentation plus a reference list.
  • Your Executive Summary will be a written version of your presentation (i.e., complete sentences and paragraphs).
  • Insightful analysis of articles relating to the issue, demonstrating critical evaluation of research, and expertly comparing and contrasting findings.
  • Recommendations are insightful and are clearly written. Recommendations are strongly supported by evidence, and expertly link theory to practice.
  • Academic writing style including incorporation of references to support your statements is required.
  • A Speech script
  • The document must be a Microsoft Word document.
