A meeting was planned with Miss Carole, who is the supervisor of the internship project. It was a normal meeting where Miss Carole asked for my short introduction to the rest of the team and then later explained the project.

Reflection:

Today I met with my supervisor Miss Carole, she was very welcoming and she asked for my short introduction where I said about myself. I was very confident while introducing myself and I was very happy to meet my teammates. I was very excited when Miss Carole explained my topic. I feel that the topic is very interesting as I will get to have good communication with other students of the university since I need their reviews on their studies insights for Coventry University London’s team. This project will be very fascinating as I will get different views of different students and I am very excited to work on this project.

Reflection:

This week I was researching my project through the university website, social media and communicating with my friends from the university. The reactions I got from social media were mixed some had positive reactions while some had negative reactions. I had conversations with many friends of my university for getting their views on their studies insights for Coventry University London’s team. My friends were very supportive and I feel the data which I got from them is valuable and real this is so because they are my friends and they must have given me their personal thoughts and did not make up. Overall, the research was going well and I was happy to see many of my friends after such a long time.

Reflection: 

On this date, I met with my team leader Mr Hussain, who is our team leader. He seemed to be a good person who was filled with motivation. He very well explained all the tasks that we had to do within the entire research. He first introduced me to all my team members. They seemed to be very cooperative. I could relate to having a good connection with them in future. I was looking forward to working with them. Our team leader explained to us that was our respective roles within the entire internship. We had to conduct research on all the problems that were faced by the students of the university while studying. These were mainly focused to provide them with effective measures. He had also provided us with the deadline for this entire research. We had to submit it within the last week of January.

Reflection:

This week, I started my first job gathering the other websites that provide all the necessary information about the university. I found out that there were three more websites that were available that provided relevant information about the college. It was found out that the faculty of the studies was good but not up to the mark. Few teachers had a problem explaining all the topics to the students. Due to this reason, the students could not have a proper understanding of the topic. This was understood when I had a conversation with a few students of the university who happened to be my friends. After that, I conducted the research by gathering all the feedback that the students gave on the education system of the university.

Reflection:

In this week, I had to explain all the ideas that I had to gather while conducting the research. The data drawn by me had shown that the students had to face various problems in understanding what the teachers are trying to convey. They have also stated that the time that the lectures are delivered to them is very less. The number of classes should increase so that all the doubts of the people can be cleared. So, I had initially given the idea that we should have a meeting with the marketing team of the college so that the students could be warned about the issues with the help of videography through social media. This idea was very satisfactory and loved by all. The teachers should also be asked to give more attention to the students who faced problems. One of the team suggested that we should conduct special tasks which would be conducted to clear all the doubts that the students had.

Reflection:

The third week was mainly focused on conducting research about the topic. The data required to conduct the research was primary data. This means that I had to interview various students of the college. I had prepared a questionnaire and had put in 10 questions, based on the personal experience of the students. These have been really helpful to have an idea of all the challenges that the students had to face while studying. The students insisted to conduct more classes so that the topics could be explained in a wide manner. To spread more awareness, it was thought that a video will be created and posted on social media so that more students can have access to it. Later, based on the research, I gathered all the information that was required by me to have the knowledge on the issues faced by them. This was the main motive of conducting the entire interview on the students.

Reflection:

This week, a meeting was conducted with the marketing team of the university. In this meeting, it was proposed how the ideas have been generated so that the students can be generated. It was first proposed that a video on spreading awareness can be created. Based on that video, all the problems faced will be discussed. After the video has been created, these shall be posted on their social media. The main intention of this is to grab the attention of the students since most of the students have access to social media. The marketing team was quite satisfied with the idea. However, they suggested that the videos can also be posted by various students of the university. In this way, more of the students will get eventually informed about this. This can work as a very good promotional tool.

Reflection:

In this week, the suggestions made by the marketing team of the college were looked into by us. I had to search for all the popular students of the school on whose social media was required to be posted. But before that, I had to search for a videographer who could make the video on the topic. After that, a meeting was conducted with those chosen topics. It was made clear to them that they had to post a video on all the social media accounts that they held. In this way, the video could reach the masses. It was finalized that once the video gets approved by Carole and Mr Hussain then the video will be publically available for all the students of the university. All the team members seemed to agree with the idea that I had drawn.

Reflection:

This week, a team meeting was conducted with the entire team as per the direction of Mr Hussain. He had made me in charge of informing all the members to attend a meeting. This meeting would be mainly based on animation marketing. Prior to that, I was given the duty to search for an efficient animation videographer to could make the video for us. I got information from a very renowned animated videographer who was ready to do the task for us. Initially, he had demanded huge money for that. But after my many requests, he has ready to do it at a standard rate. I had explained all the topics that he had to include within the video. The team members were informed about the conversation I had with the videographer.

Reflection:

During this week, I had another meeting with the team members. The final output was ready. I was handed the video that very week. After receiving the video, I was quite satisfied with it. However, before presenting it to others, I had to present them to my team members so that I could gain their approval. Any changes outlined by them were also required to be done. However, all the members of the team were also very satisfied with the video. One of the team members said that the video was quite impactful. The video was made in the Danan Jaya hettiarachchi storytelling manner. The video was absolutely perfect from the viewpoint of the entire team. Now, it could have been said that the video was a success and no changes were required to be made since the video was to the point.

Reflection:

In this week, all the team members were asked to share their point of view on the video made. I initially thought that the video could be longer. But then one of my team members suggested that the students will usually tend to avoid the video when it becomes too long. This could have an adverse impact on the video created. The entire video would be a waste then. I thought that whatever he was saying was truer to the sense, all the factors of the video were explained to the team members so that they do not face any problem while explaining the presentation made. This was really helpful for all the team members including me. This week was really essential for all of us as the entire success is dependent on this. An online presentation was shown to Rachel Hunter through a workshop.

Reflection:

I this week, it was ensured that a workshop was conducted online. The main motive of this was to present the video to Rachael Hunter so that her approval on the matter could be gained. She was very satisfied as the ideas were made in the format of Danan Jaya hettiarachchi storytelling which is exactly needed in this project.

Reflection: 

In this last week, we had to present all the works that had been done. The presentation was made through Zoom. All the team members with the supervisor, the team leader and the management of the university were present. All were very much satisfied with the work. He got a very good review of the efforts that we had put in to solve the problems of the students of the university.
