Assessment One
Mode of assessment: 15 minute presentation

This assessment component comprises 35% of the final module mark (LO1, LO2), and consists of a two
clear sections;

• 15 minute Presentation 25%
• Job and Person Specification 10%

Presentation

The presentation, as a minimum, should address the following distinct sections;

Introduction (15%)

• Aims and purpose of the presentation
• Overview of practitioner’s professional position

Reflection (65%)

• Reflect on the process to achieve the position of your chosen professional practitioner
• Roles and responsibilities of the professional practitioner
• Identify career path, qualification, expertise etc.

Summary (10%)

• Summarise the main findings.

References (5%)

• Effective, consistent referencing of a wide range of sources in line with the Harvard style referencing. Presentation Style (5 %)

• Appropriate slide layout and presentational style (tone, clarity and pace) Job and Person Specification

• Submit specific job and person specification for your chosen position
