The ethical issues that the code of conduct is facing
The essential characteristics of a profession are the need of the members to stick to the codes of conduct and ethics. In the case of the ACS, the code is formulated as the code of professional conduct and happens to be a part of the regulations insisted on society. The regulations and the restrictions of society apply to all the members of the members living and working there (Bowern et al., 2006). The code of professional conduct finds a total of six core ethical values and the connected requirements for professional conduct.
The society looks forward to the members to abide by the values and then act as per the rules are given. They are found to be responsible for all the integrity and professional approach of dealing that goes on.
How relevant legally?
The code of conduct of the professional court has a relevance to the standards in the legislation at a professional level too. Any case of failing to abide the codes could be made useful based on claiming negligence in the profession (Davison, 2000). The code of conduct can be used to quote by the experts who witness and give an estimation of the conduct in the professional lives. Failure to observing the codes could also result in disciplinary actions being taken against them.

The code of conduct:
As a member of the ACS, one must uphold and enhance the honor, respect, and dignity of being in the professional scenario. It is also important for all the members to see that the effectiveness of the code of conduct is checked (Burmeister, 2000). The prime fact being the public interest:
The citizens must keep the interest of the public as the top priority. This should be placed above all the aspects of personal interest, business rules, and interests of the sections of the society.
The fact of enhancing the quality of lives:
The citizens must make ways of enhancing the quality of the lives of the people who have been affected by the work process.
The policy of being honest:
One must be honest in the way s/he presents the works. The presentation of the work must have all the honest initiatives in the skills, knowledge, services, and products.
Competition in work:
One must work in a society with the fact of competition in the back of the mind. The competition must be given importance so that the diligence of the shareholders is given importance (Davison, 2000).

Development at the professional level:
One has to make sure showing development in the professional world. This will make sure of improvement and competition too.
Professionalism:
One as a member of the society must make sure of enhancing the integrity of the ACS and show all kind of respect to the other members of the society. This will make sure of the harmonious functions.
In some situations, it is just to see conflicts between the values. The primary and public interest of the people will take a position before all of them. The code of professional conduct has an aim at the individuals who practice it. The code is intended as a directive for the professional codes of conduct (Bowern et al., 2006).
It is applied to all the members of the ACS be it the roles in the specific areas at which they have professionalism. All these codes of conduct when followed by all the citizens will make sure of a happy place that would ensure professional and ethical people now and better generations to follow in the future.
