4. Literature Review
A literature review constructs the theoretical framework required to complete the research. Existing theoretical foundations related to the area of the research work are reviewed here to assess the less explored area. Identification of the gaps helps the current researcher to carry out extended research concluding a new dimension to it. The issue of global team management has gained significant information over the past few decades. This phenomenon can be attributed to the global expansion of the industrial segments. To derive the desired conclusion of the research work, the researcher adopted the use of various sources of relevant information. The concept of global team management has been analyzed in the research work of various scholars and researchers. The primary focus for most of that research work has been on doing proper homework before taking up the responsibility of managing an intercontinental team. The implementation of the theories of global team management should be efficient and tricky so that the intercontinental team cans manage. Managing a team across the borders of particular nations requires a special set of skills and knowledge. In the context of the case study, the issues of global management concerning the managing of intercontinental teams have been depicted. The global team manager should have a proper understanding of the cultural diversities, social aspects, community expectations, and many other socio-emotional factors that may affect the production capacity of an individual (Klitmøller and Lauring, 2013).
Some of the researchers in the context of the case study did conclude that language plays a crucial role in connecting individuals. In the modern-day scenario, most global or face-to-face communications are carried out through linguistic interaction (Browne et al. 2016). Due to the rapid emergence of cloud or internet forums in organizations, communication has become easier by the means of emails, chats, video conferences, group conferences, etc. The national boundaries are no more a hindrance to communication. In this aspect, the researcher concludes that proper communication is necessary for global team management. Effective communication implies the exact interchange of thoughts and information. Communication through language is the most effective medium of communication (Jarzabkowski et al. 2014). In the context of global team management, it has to deal with people representing various cultures and from different backgrounds. This indicates the fact that the global team management may acquire an idea of the language used by their team members. Proper knowledge of the language will ensure that the exact information is communicated and specific feedback is received from the team members. In research, work language was considered the heart of the global business cycle and the main tool for integrating different skills involved in the business and obtaining desired performance outcomes. Proper verbal communication through the desired language will ensure that there is a proper understanding of the organizational goals of the concerned persons (Fu et al. 2016). Some scholarly articles also refer to the fact that the differences in language can be a hindrance to the functioning of international business. The language barriers will lead to the miscommunication of the goals to the person liable for achieving those goals. Miscommunication due to language hindrance can lead to adverse consequences in terms of achieving organizational goals. The researcher in the context of the case study did analyze various issues that are being faced by an organization for implementing global team management efficiently. Global team management does face numerous challenges; some of them include challenges of effective team leading, developmental lack of managerial effectiveness, inability to inspire others, and the inability of self-development (Colomo-Palacios et al. 2014). The researcher in this context is willing to propose the use of cross-functional integration by implementing the methods of communication or by providing language training. Proper implementation of the proposed method may result in the success of the business.
The researcher did find that the human resources department could play a pivotal role in communication if they may collaborate with the global teams. The human resources department is liable for all the internal and external activities of an organization. The researcher in this context is willing to consider the HRM as it is acquainted with the social, economic, cultural, and emotional needs of a community. The global team of an organization can acquire its desired information about a community by collaborating with its respective HRM department (Verburg et al. 2013). This will assist the global team management to acquire an overview of the concerned community and derive methods of management considering the social, economic, financial, and cultural aspects of the community. This may generate a sense of appreciation among the community members, which will ensure the sustainability of the organization. The human resource department of an organization is located at both local and global levels. This helps the HRM department for identifying the precise gaps in communication between the global teams. As this department operates both at the local and global level, it acquires a specific idea about the requirement of the global team members. This helps them in providing specific feedback to the concerned authorities and ensures that the strategies are formulated based on the requirement of t6he team members. The global team can be an active participant in this dynamic environment and assist in handling and balancing the professional hindrances (Frank et al. 2015). In the context of the case study, the researcher did conclude that some of the researchers have highlighted that to ensure a productive environment the human resource management team must foster global collaboration. The methods of global collaboration must include global team training, employees may be guided by their respective local managers who will help them in acquiring an idea about the local community (Klenke, 2016). The concept of international business is a wide concept and global team management plays a crucial role in its operation.

Due to the unavailability of sufficient funds, the researcher could not undertake various research methodologies. The researcher did refrain from undertaking the research methods that required a huge amount of money. The research work was carried out on the restricted amount of funds that were made available. The researcher was also affected by the limited time that was specified for the research work. The researcher had to refrain from conducting personal interviews, making telephonic conversations, and surveying the market scenario. The limited-time affected the research work, as the precise information through face-to-face interaction could not be obtained. In the context of the research work, the researcher also feels that there is a lack of clarity on the information that was the base of the research work. Due to the financial lacking and limited time, the researcher was unable to use the primary methods of the data collection. Only the secondary methods were used and hence there was a lack of clarity in the research work. The research work is based on the findings from the internet sources, which mainly referred to the books, journals, and articles, which are relevant to the topic. Therefore, the researcher concludes that the research work is limited in the aspects of clarity, time, and money.
8. Time Schedule
