You will need to provide relevant examples and evidence to support your ideas. These must be from books, journals, and other sources. You should acknowledge your sources both in-text and in a reference list at the end of your essay. You should use the Harvard referencing system. You will be required to sign a plagiarism declaration form to confirm that both the essay itself and the language used are entirely your own work.

Submission details:

The essay can be written in sections and handed in so that you obtain feedback which will enable you to make improvements to your written work. The final essay must be submitted in Week 10 on Thursday 30^th November 2017.  You must submit a hard copy of your essay to the BIC reception by 10.00 am on this day, with an official coursework form attached. You must also submit an electronic copy to Turnitin by 10.00am on the same day. If you do not submit both versions by the deadline, your mark will be automatically capped at 40%.

Essay format: Your essay must:

Be word-processed

• Use font size 12 in Arial or Times New Roman
• Use 1.5 line-spacing
• Include the title (as given)
• Include your name, student ID number and word count on the first page.
