Behavioural risk factors

These are the most common risk factors for many chronic conditions (www.health.gov.au, 2019). By considering the case study, it has been possible to understand that the concerned person does not maintain a proper diet and poor diet can be regarded as one of the most significant risk factors related to the health of the concerned person. As per the case study, the person has COPD and the person is an aged individual. For individual ones, it is important to maintain proper diets, and the ability of the person to tolerate medicines can be reduced if the person would not maintain a proper diet.

Biomedical risk factors

As per the case study, the person has gained kg weight within one year. It means that the person is facing obesity-related issues and it also means that the person is facing biomedical risks. The person also forgets to take medicines at the right time. It is another aspect related to biomedical risk. The person lives alone. As there is none to take care of her, the person was required to be a bit more attentive with respect to her diet and the medicines. However, by analyzing the case study, it can easily be stated that the person is not conscious regarding these factors and this is the reason why such biomedical risks are being faced by her.

Non-modifiable risk factor

Age can be regarded as an aspect of the non-modifiable risk factor. By considering the case study, it can be stated that the person is 7 years old and it means that she is facing the concerning risk.
