Assessment Task
In this assessment, you will bring together all of the work that you have completed over the trimester into a professional presentation for your client/organisation representative. This is your team’s opportunity to practise delivering a professional brief and presenting a solution to a client.
Your group will present your solution to your client/organisation representative in a 10-minute presentation supported by PowerPoint slides.
Please refer to the Task Instructions for details on how to complete this task.
Context
Throughout this trimester, your team completed three assignments based on a case study provided by a client/organisation. Through this process, you developed a solution for the case study and problem that was presented to you.
Having completed your written assignments and refined your solution, you will now present the solution back to the client/organisation.
This process models industry practice. You should approach this presentation as if you were in industry and present your findings and recommendations to the client.
Please ensure you are well presented, on time and rehearsed. You should also be ready to answer any questions about the solution you have developed.
Instructions
Prepare a presentation for your client/organisation (with seven slides) that outlines the process you have undertaken to develop the solution and also provide a demonstration.
The slides should be structured as follows:
Slide 1: A title-page slide with a title reflecting your client and the nature of your solution, the subject code, the subject name, all students’ names and students’ numbers for the group. Additionally, please include the name of your learning facilitator.
Slide 2: Overview of your project purpose and background.
Slide 3: Overview of your client/organisation. Provide key information about your client/organisation and their requirements.
Slide 4: Outline your client/organisation’s journey. Provide information on how this has influenced the product or service you have developed.
Slide 5: Detail the clear problem statement that you identified.
Slides 6: Outline the elements that you included in the ideation and prototype phases of your solution and any considerations you brought into play.
Slides 7: Describe and provide the recommended solution. State why you recommend this solution and how it meets your client’s/organisation’s needs.
Referencing
It is expected that you reference any lecture notes used and any additional sources in the relevant subject area based on your readings and further research. It is essential that you use appropriate
